I remember when Pietta started making Colt-style SAA revolvers in 2002, and they were not as well finished or accurate. The company has made great strides in production (thanks in part to a new state-of-the-art factory) to the point of producing single-action models that have a level of quality that exceeds expectations.
Cimarron’s most recent model matches the description.
Pietta’s Single Action’s of today are improved in form and finish (made by polishing and browning techniques), metallurgy, internal quality (just as important as the external finish), and production-price revolvers that come out of the box with standard prepared actions and finishes for which you would normally have had to pay extra.
The 7-1/2-inch laser-etched nickel Cimarron model sells for $713.

El Diablo II by Frontier Gunleather
What the hell did you say!
El Diablo II is an early 1900s-style holster with continuous leather lining and hand-stitched welt accented by a sleek, hand-beaded design for a true vintage look. Frontier Gunleather uses a hand finish with special chestnut oil to add more depth and detail to both the holster and cartridge belt.
El Diablo II is made with a separate Mexican-style implant attached through the back of the skirt (instead of the traditional style with the holster passing through a ring in the skirt, or an implant riveted to the skirt, as was made in the 1880s) and is decorated with a trio of gold and silver conchos with central leather strings tied in a double knot.
The holster body has a shallow part that folds down to keep much of the underguard covered, and to prevent the drum from hitting the top edge when having to put the weapon back in the holster.
With an open-toe style, the skirt is contoured around the holster with a matching border stamping. The belt and holster are comfortable worn high on the waist or worn low on the side-the 7-1/2-inch Single Action cleans the skin well with ease either way.
The handcrafted El Diablo II holster designed by John Bianchi and made by Matt Whitaker sells for $250; the 24-copi, 2-1/4-inch wide cartridge belt raises the price another $245 with the deep-etched, cut-angle Santa Fe buckle.
The luxury nickel silver Navajo buckle for example is another $110.
